Solicitor

Therefore, we aim to recruit high quality and driven lawyers of all levels who are experienced in our core contentious specialist areas of professional indemnity and construction claims and policy coverage disputes. We look for individuals who can deliver innovative and commercial solutions to what are often complex problems. We want individuals to progress within the firm and to become the partners of the future. As such, we look to recruit individuals who want to take early responsibility for matters in addition to their own career progression. Trainee

During your training you will be responsible for handling your own cases in our core practice areas from their early stages to their conclusion under the direct supervision of a partner. You will also have the opportunity to work on high value complex matters as part of a wider team. Overall, the training at Caytons gives you the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the most experienced lawyers practising in our core practice areas. You will have exposure to clients from day one of your training contract and there can also be the opportunity for client secondments. This will give you the opportunity to build relationships with clients which can be invaluable for your future career. You will also have the opportunity to undertake non-contentious work including working on policy wordings and advising on appointments, collateral warranties and building contracts. We are looking for intelligent and driven trainee solicitors who want to train to become a solicitor in our core contentious specialist areas of professional indemnity and construction claims and policy coverage disputes. We also seek individuals who want to progress their careers within the firm and become future partners. We offer competitive salaries and bonus as well as a comprehensive benefits package. Prospective candidates should have obtained a minimum 2.1 from a good university.
