Peter has over twenty years’ insurance and consumer law experience.

He advises on contentious claims against professionals (construction, financial and lawyers) and in regulatory work. He also actively seeks instructions in subrogated recovery actions.  Recent reported work includes acting for the successful party in both the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court in the well-known case of Parking Eye v Beavis (contractual penalties), acting for Berkeley Burke in the recent widely publicised SIPP Litigation (including an appeal against a judicial review of a FOS decision) and for Greggs, the Bakers, in a judicial review appeal against a decision made at first instance arising out of Regulatory Enforcement and Sanctions Act 2008.
